Cookie and device storage policy

1. Current position

Petail currently uses no advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. We therefore do not show a misleading 'accept all' banner. Only storage strictly necessary for the service requested by the user is used without separate consent.

2. Technologies

• petail_session: HttpOnly, production Secure, SameSite=Lax login session, up to 30 days or until logout/revocation;
• NEXT_LOCALE: preferred language;
• local PWA install and notification preferences;
• petail_pending_legal_acceptance: short-lived local handoff for Google registration, deleted after server recording;
• Service Worker Cache for public application assets and a safe offline shell;
• push identifiers created only after the user enables browser notifications.

3. Control and future tracking

You may clear site data in browser settings, although login, installation and notification features may stop working. Before non-essential analytics or advertising is introduced, Petail will provide purpose-based, unpreselected choices and an equally easy withdrawal mechanism.
